'In the deep, deep dark!' EYFS Open Event
An opportunity to explore our rich learning environment to see how we help, engage and respond to our children.
Report after report has found that high-quality early years provisions have a vital and long-term impact on children, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
At Oakwood Primary Academy we practice the Reggio Emilia approach in the early years setting. It is an approach where teaching is led by the children's' interests. It allows the children to form understandings themselves and explore the world around them at their own pace. In recent years the approach has garnered much interest and praise for the results it has.
Our work has been showcased at the renowned Early Excellence Centre in London, and last year we were shortlisted for Foundation Unit of the year at the TES Awards.
Over the last few years we have held successful Early Years Practitioner events, showcasing the work we do in the Academy. . Because of this we are holding another event at the Academy with the theme of 'In the Deep, Deep Dark!'.
Please find below the registration form for the event.
The event costs £10 per person. The session will include a short presentation, time in our setting and a chance to speak to our practitioners and refreshments.
